The 1980 College World Series was played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, NE from May 30 to June 6. The participating schools qualified by winning one of eight regional tournaments. The thirty-fourth tournament's champion was the University of Arizona coached by Jerry Kindall. The Most Outstanding Player was Terry Francona of the University of Arizona.
