The 2019 Pacific Coast League season was the 117th season in the league's history. With a new ball in use, offensive levels exploded, with over a 50% increase in the number of homers and 66 qualified batters slugging over .500. The league ERA, already relatively high at 4.60 last year, jumped to 5.43.
