Team History[edit]

The Dunedin Blue Jays, of the Single-A Florida State League and briefly in Low-A Southeast, missed two-and-a-half seasons in their home ballpark due to an expected renovation followed by two unexpected gaps related to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Toronto Blue Jays farmhands play their home games at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, FL.

On June 1, 2021, the D-Jays played at home for the first time since 2018. They had played 2019 at Clearwater's Jack Russell Memorial Stadium[1] while their park was renovated, didn't play in 2020 as the minor leagues were shut down by the pandemic, and played May 2021 at Clearwater's BayCare Ballpark and Tampa's George M. Steinbrenner Field while international travel restrictions related to the pandemic kept the parent Blue Jays in Dunedin for two months after spring training ended.

MLB's 2021 Minor League Reorganization lowered the D-Jays, and most of the FSL, one level.

Like seven of the other nine FSL teams, the Jays are owned by their parent club.
