Biographical Information[edit]

George Carroll played in the lower levels of the Toronto Blue Jays minor league system in 2011-2012. He finished his playing career in 2013 with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in the independent Atlantic League.

Carroll returned to the Blue Jays to start his coaching career in 2017. He was a player/coach for the GCL Blue Jays and served as the Minor League Complex Rehabilitation Coach that season. His job description became a little less complicated in 2018-2019 when he just worked as a position coach. In 2020 Carroll was named the position coach for the Dunedin Blue Jays before COVID-19 caused the minor league season to be cancelled. He did coach at Dunedin in 2021. Carroll assumed a bench coach position with the FCL Blue Jays in 2022 and Dunedin in 2023. He was then a coach for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in 2024.
