Biographical Information[edit]
Scott Breeden pitched twelve years in the minors (1956-1967), enjoying a personal best 17-5, 2.09 ERA season for the Kokomo Dodgers of the Midwest League in 1958. He then spent 16 years as a minor league pitching coach in the Cincinnati Reds organization before working as their major league pitching coach from 1986 to 1989. He closed out his coaching career with the Toronto Blue Jays' organization before retiring in 2004.
He died at age 68 in his Tampa, FL-area home from a heart attack on February 21, 2006.
