Florida Complex League
The Florida Complex League came into being in 2021, replacing the Gulf Coast League as part of the reorganization of the minor leagues that followed the cancelled 2020 minor league season. The change of names came at the same time as the Gulf Coast League's sister league, the Arizona League became the Arizona Complex League. In 2024, the schedule was moved up from the traditional June-August to a new May-July timeline [1].
