• November 19: Jae-hwan Kim is named KBO MVP for 2018. Baek-ho Kang wins Rookie of the Year.
• November 16: Brad Marcelino and Ron Marshall are voted into the British Baseball Hall of Fame.
• November 16: Chun-Hsiu Chen wins CPBL MVP for 2018 while Tzu-Chien Shih takes the Rookie of the Year award.
• November 15: The MVP Awards are announced in Major League Baseball, with Mookie Betts winning the honor in the American League and Christian Yelich doing so in the National League.

• November 3: The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks repeat as winners of the Nippon Series, defeating the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, 4 games to 1, with one game having ended in a tie. Takuya Kai is named the Nippon Series Most Valuable Player.
• November 2: Maurice Wilhelm wins his third straight Bundesliga-1 north MVP award. Jake Levin wins the southern MVP.
• October 31: Hall of Famer Willie McCovey passes away at the age of 80.
• October 29: Tomoyuki Sugano wins the Sawamura Award, the first pitcher to win two in a row in 22 years.
• October 28: The Boston Red Sox win the 2018 World Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers, 4 games to 1. Steve Pearce is named Series MVP.
• October 20: The Los Angeles Dodgers repeat as National League champions by defeating the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS. Cody Bellinger wins the NLCS MVP Award.
• October 20: The K. Deurne Spartans win their third Belgian First Division crown.
• October 18: The Boston Red Sox win the American League pennant, defeating the Houston Astros, 4 games to 1, in the ALCS. Jackie Bradley is named the series' MVP.
• October 13: The Huskies de Rouen win their fourth straight French Division I title.
• October 8: Brock Holt becomes the first player to hit for the cycle in the postseason.

• September 17: Christian Yelich of the Milwakee Brewers becomes the fifth player in baseball history to hit for the cycle twice in one season, and the first to victimize the same team twice.

• August 21: The Baseball Australia Hall of Fame announces its class of 2018: Ben Shom, Brett Ward, Greg Elkson and Mark Ettles.

• May 8: James Paxton of the Seattle Mariners pitches a no-hitter against the Toronto Blue Jays. It is only the second ever no-hitter by a Canadian-born pitcher, and is also achieved on Canadian soil.
• May 5: Mike Martin of Florida State University becomes the winningest coach in NCAA Division I history with 1,976 wins, passing Augie Garrido.
• May 4: Walker Buehler, Tony Cingrani, Yimi Garcia and Adam Liberatore combine to pitch a no-hitter in Monterrey, Mexico, the first major league no-hitter thrown outside of the United States or Canada.
• May 4: Albert Pujols becomes the 32nd member of the 3,000 hit club.
• April 21: The Argentinian national team wins the 2018 South American Championship. Diego Echeverría is named MVP.
• April 21: Sean Manaea of the Athletics pitches the first no-hitter of the major league season, defeating the Red Sox, 3-0.
• February 11: The Brisbane Bandits win the 2017-2018 Australian Baseball League, their third consecutive title.
• February 8: The Criollos de Caguas win their second straight Caribbean Series title, and fifth overall, by defeating Águilas Cibaeñas in the final game of the 2018 Caribbean Series. Anthony García is named Caribbean Series MVP.
