Venezuela
Players who were born here / Players who died here
The South American nation of Venezuela has produced three Chicago White Sox star shortstops: Chico Carrasquel, Luis Aparicio, and Ozzie Guillen. In 2004, Guillen became the first Venezuelan to manage in the major leagues when he was hired by the White Sox, and the following season he became the first Latino manager to win the World Series.
