2022 Confederation Cup
The 2022 Confederation Cup was the first Confederation Cup; the event had previously been known as the CEB Cup. It was held from June 8 to June 12, 2022 in Rouen, France. The event had seven teams instead of eight as Belarus was removed due to penalties due to their helping with the Russian attack on Ukraine.

- Hoboken Pioneers (Belgium) 12, Vienna Metrostars (Austria) 1. 1B Rob Lewis and 2B Wesley Janssens each score 3 to back the win from Bebee Brayden over Jak Simonsen. 2B Felix Dittrich has both of Vienna's hits.
- Tenerife Marlins (Spain) 6, Therwil Flyers (Switzerland) 5. Spain gets an unexpected challenge from Swiss, winning by only one run despite drawing 11 walks and collecting 10 hits. SS Yancarlo Franco, a former minor leaguer, goes 3 for 4 with 3 runs for the Marlins while Kevin Rodriguez gets the victory over Rafael Eigenmann. C Taylor Eichhorst goes yard for Therwil.
- Barracudas de Montpellier (France) 6, Olimpija Karlovac (Croatia) 3. 1B/P/RF Ismail Pontiac's 3-run homer off Carlos Garcia breaks a 2-2 tie in the 3rd. Mathis Nayral gets the win and Kenjiro Sugiura the save.
June 9[edit]
- Karlovac 5, Therwil 2. Antonio Horvatić strikes out ten and also drives in a pair, beating Taylor Eichhorst as both hurlers go the distance.
- Tenerife 12, Montpellier 4. Spain goes to 2-0 as Yancarlo Franco goes 3 for 4 with two walks, a homer, three runs and three RBI while 1B Richard Montiel raps three hits as well. Gerardo Finol gets the win, Kevin Canelon the loss.
- Rouen Huskies (France) 9, Vienna 4. The hosts finally play a game, Quentin Moulin getting the win and Arthur Magnien saving it. 2B/LF Dylan Gleeson and CF Bastien Dagneau each have 3 hits, Dagneau falling a single shy of a cycle and driving in four. Nico Schadler is handed the loss, while SS/P Mo Hackl homers twice to drive in all of Vienna's runs.
June 10[edit]
- Montpellier 18, Therwil 5. Five Barracudas score at least three runs, led by CF Paolo Brossier's four, while 2B Mathis Nayral drives in five and C Fabian Kovacs four. Mathis Guiraud got the win, while Chris Horne takes the decision for Therwil. 2B Taylor Eichhorst scores a pair for the Flyers.
- Tenerife 13, Karlovac 0. The Marlins go to 3-0 with a mercy rule rout. SS Yancarlo Franco (3 R, 4 RBI), 3B Lesther Galván (3 H) and 1B Richard Montiel (3 H) provide plenty of offense from the 3-4-5 slots, while Victor Diaz gets the win over Pavao Karin.
- Rouen 10, Hoboken 2. Thibault Mercadier allows one run in six to beat Zane Hendrickx. LF Joris Bert and DH Luc Viger each drive in three, while CF Martin Vissac scores three. RF Kevin Delgado is the lone Pioneer with multiple hits.
June 11[edit]
- Vienna 13, Therwil 11. Vienna gets their first win, going up 12-4 after three before the Flyers closed the gap mostly. 3B/SS Alex Hilliard drove in four while SS/C Mo Hackl scored three times. Jak Simonsen got the win, Martin Novak the loss. RF Sven Leemann drives in four for the Swiss team.
- Hoboken 4, Tenerife 2. The Spanish club takes its first loss as Bebee Brayden and Kenny Vandenbranden combine on a two-hitter, fanning ten. CF Toon Hendrickx, the #9 hitter, scores a pair. Yeudy Garcia takes the defeat, while the Marlins got all their offense on a two-run shot by 3B Lesther Galván.
- Rouen 7, Montpellier 6. In a match-up of the two French entries, Rouen is cruising 7-1 before nearly blowing it. Esteban Prioul saves Yaeferson Gomez's win, while Owen Ozanich loses to his long-time team. C Javier Hernandez scores three, while RF Bastien Dagneau gets three hits for Rouen.
June 12[edit]
- Karlovac 9, Vienna 7. 1B Petar Rumora goes 5 for 5 while veteran CF Slobodan Gales scores three times. Antonio Horvatić has a three-inning hitless save for Duje Papic's win. Jak Simonsen gets another decision, falling to 1-2. Simonsen and LF Dominik Loffler each drive in a pair in a losing cause.
- 3rd place game: Tenerife 10, Montpellier 2. 3B Lesther Galván continues to shine, with four hits (two homers) and six RBI as Spain gets third place. Ronald Medrano allows one hit in six shutout innings, saved by Gerardo Finol. 1B Yoan Antonac's two-run homer is all the offense the Barracudas can put on the board; Mathis Nayral takes the defeat.
- Title game: Rouen 6, Hoboken 5. The title game was a close affair, tied 2-2 from the 1st to the 4th and 5-5 from the 5th to the 9th. 2B Dylan Gleeson drew a bases-loaded walk from Owen Van Thillo in the bottom of the 9th to score Joris Bert with the winner. Bert had three hits, tourney MVP Bastien Dagneau hit a two-run homer and Esteban Prioul got the win with four hitless, scoreless innings out of the bullpen. 3B Lino Ballardini drove in two for the Pioneers while DH Thomas De Wolf scores two.
