Biographical Information[edit]

Kevin Delgado joined the Deurne Spartans in 2018, hitting .414/.444/.509 with 39 runs and 31 RBI in 39 games, stealing 22 bases in 29 tries. He had a 4.74 ERA in eight appearances. He was second in the First Division in average, eighth in slugging, 10th in OBP, second in runs (9 behind Leonel Reina), 1st in hits (by 13), tied Matthias Group for 5th in RBI, was 6th in doubles (11), led in total bases (86, by 2) and 1st in steals. [1] In 2019, he moved to the Hoboken Pioneers, producing at a .394/.481/.455. He tied Jamie Verheyleweghen for 5th in average and was 9th in OBP. [2]

Delgado was 2 for 9 with a walk, 3 runs and 3 RBI for Pioneers in the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season. [3] He hit .381/.435/.452 in 2021, scoring five runs in the finale as Hoboken won its first title in nine years. [4]
