2000 CEB Cup

The 2000 CEB Cup was held in Nettuno, Italy. Hosts Caffè Danesi Nettuno won the cup for the third and last time, as the Italian Baseball League decided not to send any more of it's teams to participate in the competition. Without the Dutch, who had only entered the CEB Cup once, and now the Italians, this gave teams from other European countries a chance to win this trophy, which had been dominated by teams from the IBL.

Nettuno's win, beating two-time defending champions Modena, meant that Italian teams won every CEB Cup they entered from 1993 onwards.
