2016 CEB Cup

From BR Bullpen

The 2016 CEB Cup was the first CEB Cup since 2007, as the European Cup format had changed from 2008-2015. In the revived CEB Cup, the Rouen Huskies won the title, giving France a spot in the 2017 European Cup (replacing 2016 European Champions Cup #8 finisher Czech Republic). MVP Larry Infante hit .556/.619/1.111 with a tourney-best 3 homers, 15 RBI and 10 runs. Owen Ozanich (1-0, 0 R in 9 IP, 10 K, 3 H) was named Best Pitcher. Montpellier's Clement Le Pichon (.588/.650/.647) was named Best Hitter. While France moved up a team, Austria lost their spot in the next CEB Cup with the last-place finish, to be replaced by the top team from the 2016 Federations Cup.
