Biographical Information[edit]

Quentin Moulin has pitched in French Division I and for the French national team.

He allowed five walks and five runs in 3 1/3 IP in the 2018 European Junior Championship. [1] He was 1-0 with two saves and a 3.33 ERA for the Rouen Huskies in the 2019 French Division I. [2] He struggled with them in the 2019 European Champions Cup (3 H, 3 BB, 5 R in 1 IP vs. Parmaclima). [3] The 2020 French season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pitching for Rouen in the 2021 European Champions Cup, he was again lit up by an Italian team, this time Bologna. He allowed 14 runs (all earned) on eight hits and six walks in 2 2/3 IP. He allowed the most runs and earned runs in the event, one ahead of teammate Jeremy Dubois. [4] He was 0-1 with a 4.57 ERA in the 2021 U23 European Championship, striking out 11 in 7 2/3 IP. He led France in Ks and was 6th in the event in strikeouts. [5]

He played for France in the 2021 European Championship. He beat former Twins farmhand Vadim Balan and Russia for one of only two wins for France in an off-year; he went six innings and allowed three hits, three walks and three runs (all earned) while fanning three before Franklin De La Rosa took over; Eric Moore saved the 5-4 victory. In his other game, he relieved José Paula with a 9-6 deficit against Greece with one out in the 12th and one out. He walked Max Warren then struck out Hondro Torres. Tom Roulis hit a two-run double and Moulin walked Dimitri Kourtis. Ari Sechopoulos singled to make it 12-6. He got Nick Halamandaris to end the inning. [6]
