The Russia national baseball team is a national team of Russia and is controlled by the Russian Baseball Federation. It represents the nation in senior-level men's international competition. The team is a member of the CEB. Russia's brightest baseball days have been in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with the highlight being a Silver Medal in the 2001 European Championship after beating Italy in the semifinals. The team has had several players who have appeared in American minor leaguers. Major leaguer Victor Cole has been with the team for some tours but for no major international events due to the absence of a Russian passport.
