Max Warren pitched four seasons for Harvard. He was 0-1 with a 9.95 ERA as a freshman, 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA as a sophomore and 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA as a junior. His senior season was his only one with more than 12 innings, going 1-4 with a save and a 4.91 ERA in 2008. He then played in a minor circuit in the Netherlands. He made the Greek national team for the 2010 European Championship and was their top contact hitter, going 12 for 26 with a double, walk, 6 runs, 4 RBI and two steals in their eight games. He played right field. He did not do nearly as well as a pitcher, giving up 11 hits and 9 runs in 5 2/3 IP and getting pounded by Germany. He did get a save. For 2011, he signed with Germany's HSV Stealers club. He was 2 for 9 with two walks and three runs as HSV split an Opening Day doubleheader with the Solingen Alligators; Warren also allowed one run in two innings in relief. He was not the only Greek national team member to sign with a German club for 2011, as Tim Karkatselos did so as well.
