Tim Karkatselos

Tim Karkatselos made the Greek national team for the 2010 European Championship. He allowed six runs in his first start, a loss to Italy. He rebounded in his next outing throwing two and a third scoreless innings against Germany. He also started against France going five innings, giving up three runs to get the victory that secured fourth place in the tournament. That win earned Greece a spot in the 2011 Baseball World Cup in Panama. Along with playing for the national team, Karkatselos signed professional contracts with the Rio Grande Valley White Wings and the San Angelo Colts in Texas in 2009 and 2010.
Karkatselos signed with Germany's Pulheim Gophers for 2011. He debuted on April 9 against the Berlin Sluggers and got the win with 9 strikeouts, 5 hits, 2 walks and 3 runs (2 earned) in 7 innings. He was 1 for 5 at the plate.
