HCAW

HCAW is a Hoofdklasse team based in Bussum and play their home games at the Sportvallei. HCAW stands for Honkbalclub Allen Weerbaar. The team was established in 1957 and was not particularly successful until the 1990s. They won Hoofdklasse titles in 1996 and 1998 and were runners-up in the Holland Series in 1991 and 1997, then every year from 1999-2005, with Neptunus beating them each of those seven years. In 2002 and 2005 they finished second in the European Cup. They got their third title in the 2022 Holland Series, avenging their run of losses to Neptunus. They won their first European Cup in 2023.
