The 2021 Hoofdklasse season marked a bounceback from a rough 2020, which was delayed and then cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic, whereas the 2021 season was played under relatively normal lengths and circumstances and came to a full conclusion. Diegomar Markwell became the 3rd Hoofdklasse pitcher to 150 career wins, while former major leaguers Roger Bernadina and Shairon Martis both appeared in the circuit. The MVP, though, was Amsterdam Pirates outfielder Denzel Richardson.
