Dashenko Ricardo grounded in a run, then Kelly walked Sven van der Sanden and Jefferson Muzo (on a full count) to force in another run. René Cremer flew out to end the threat. Neptunus tied it in the bottom of the 7th. In the 8th, Kelly got Björn Henrichs, Quintin de Cuba and Bryan Engelhardt (whose father had played with Kelly's father years prior) in order. He was relieved in the 9th by Berry van Driel and Neptunus went on for a 3-2 win.
His father Eligio Kelly played in the Hoofdklasse and for the Dutch national team also.
