The 2006 Hoofdklasse season was dominated by Corendon Kinheim as they went 33-7 in the regular season then swept ADO in the playoffs. In the Holland Series they beat the Konica Minolta Pioniers to win their third Hoofdklasse title. It was Kinheim's first championship since 1994.
