Team History[edit]
The Kane County Cougars began play in the Midwest League in 1991 when the Wausau Timbers relocated to Geneva, IL (a suburb about 40 miles west of Chicago).
The Cougars lost their affiliation in the Minor League Reorganization after the 2020 season but resurfaced the following year in the independent American Association.
