Biographical Information[edit]
Chris Gutierrez played minor league ball from 2005-2013 for a number of organizations. He reached AAA on multiple occasions, but never got the call to the major leagues. Over his nine seasons he hit .252/.355/.336 while appearing in 872 games. Apart from a few games in the outfield, Gutierrez split time between shortstop, third base, and second base.
After retirement Gutierrez joined the Chicago Cubs organization for two years before leaving the game in 2016-2017. When he returned in 2018 it was with the Los Angeles Dodgers minor league system.
