Cedric Nelson Tallis
Biographical Information[edit]
Cedric Tallis joined the expansion Los Angeles Angels as business manager in 1961. He became vice president of operations in 1965. Tallis was then the original General Manager of the expansion Kansas City Royals from their inception until June 1974. He moved to the New York Yankees as assistant GM in 1976-1977, GM in 1978-1979, and president from 1980 to 1983.
