Pitcher Paul Semall was drafted in the 19th round of the 1976 amateur draft and the 12th round of the 1977 amateur draft by the New York Yankees.
Semall led the Eastern League with 17 wins in 1978 with the West Haven Yankees. In June 1979 he was traded with cash to the Chicago Cubs for Bobby Murcer.
Semall never made the majors.
