Biographical Information[edit]
A graduate of UCLA, Jim York pitched in sixteen of the school's nineteen Pacific Eight Conference games in 1968. In 1969 he was 7-4 with a 1.48 ERA and had 70 strikeouts in 61 innings as he helped pitch UCLA to the conference championship and NCAA District Eight championship and a berth in the College World Series.
