All-Star Game[edit]
The NPB All-Star Game featured three games and was won by the Pacific League three games to none. The first game was played at Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium and was won by the PL, 9 - 4. The second game was played at Chunichi Stadium and was won by the PL, 7 - 3. The third game was played at Osaka Baseball Stadium and was won by the PL, 9 - 6.
Postseason[edit]
In the Nippon Series, the Yomiuri Giants (CL) defeated the Hankyu Braves (PL), 4 games to 2. It was the Giants' third consecutive title. The winning manager was Tetsuharu Kawakami and the series MVP was Masaaki Mori.
Award Winners[edit]
The winner of the 1967 Sawamura Award was Kentaro Ogawa of the Chunichi Dragons. He had a 29 - 12 win-loss record, 178 strikeouts, and a 2.51 ERA in 279.2 innings.

The 49th National High School Baseball Championship featured a total of 2460 schools competing for 30 spots in the finals at Koshien. In the championship game Narashino High School (Chiba) defeated Koryo High School (Hiroshima) by a score of 7 - 1.
The 39th National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament featured 24 schools competing in the tournament at Koshien. In the championship game Tsukumi High School (Oita) defeated Kochi High School (Kochi) by a score of 2 - 1.

The 1967 All-Japan University Baseball Championship Series featured 14 schools competing in the tournament at Nakahinata Baseball Stadium. In the championship game Chuo University defeated Keio University by a score of 3 - 1.
