Professional Baseball[edit]
High School Baseball[edit]
The 18th National High School Baseball Championship featured a total of 660 schools competing for 22 spots in the finals at Koshien. In the championship game Chukyo University Senior High School (Aichi) defeated Matsuyama Shogyo High School (Ehime) by a score of 4 - 3.
The 9th National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament featured 20 schools competing in the tournament at Koshien. In the championship game Matsuyama Shogyo High School (Ehime) defeated Akashi High School (Hyogo) by a score of 1 - 1.
University Baseball[edit]
Tokyo Big6 Baseball League[edit]
The Meiji team toured the United States in the spring and did not participate in the league. Waseda withdrew from the league's spring season after three games (2 - 1).

International Baseball[edit]
The Royal Giants, a Negro League all-star team, toured Japan for a second time in 1932. The touring team went 23 - 1 - 0 against Japanese competition. The tour was again led by Biz Mackey. At least one Japanese baseball historian credits the visit with inspiring the formation of the Japan Professional Baseball League.
