Professional Baseball[edit]

High School Baseball[edit]

The 13th National High School Baseball Championship featured a total of 389 schools competing for 22 spots in the finals at Koshien. In the championship game Takamatsu Commercial High School (Kagawa) defeated Koryo High School (Hiroshima) by a score of 5 - 1.

The 4th National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament featured 8 schools competing in the tournament at Koshien. In the championship game Wakayama High School (Wakayama) defeated Koryo High School (Hiroshima) by a score of 8 - 3.

University Baseball[edit]

Tokyo Big6 Baseball League[edit]

The Waseda team toured the United States in the spring and did not participate in the league.

International Baseball[edit]

A Negro League all-star team calling themselves the Royal Giants toured Japan in 1927. The touring team went 23 - 0 - 1 against Japanese competition. It included Biz Mackey, Newt Allen, Rap Dixon and Frank Duncan.
