High School Baseball[edit]
The 18th National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament featured 16 schools competing in the tournament at Koshien. In the championship game Toho High School (Aichi) defeated Ichinomiya High School (Aichi) by a score of 5 - 2.
The National High School Baseball Championship, held in the summer, was canceled due to war.
