Jacksonville, FL

(Redirected from Jacksonville, Florida)

Jacksonville is located in northeastern Florida, near the coast of the Atlantic Ocean on the Saint Johns River, just south of the border of Georgia and 120 miles north of Orlando, FL. Because its municipal boundaries are very extended, it has the largest population of any city in the state, although its metropolitan area is only the fourth largest.

Jacksonville hosted Florida's first professional baseball spring training, by the original Washington Nationals, in 1888.
