Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Wilber McCullough played in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system in 1942 and from 1946 to 1949. Though he played briefly for Triple-A Rochester in 1947 and 1949, he never reached the major leagues. Perhaps his best season was 1948, when he went 12-4 with a 2.86 ERA in 20 games for the Allentown Cardinals. Overall, he was 25-25 in 77 games.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
