Biographical Information[edit]

Brian Buscher was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 3rd round of the 2003 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Lee Elder and made his pro debut that summer. Taken by the Minnesota Twins in the 2006 Rule V Draft, he saw big league action in the ensuing three seasons in Minneapolis, batting .266 with 8 homers and 69 RBI in 164 games. His younger brother, Greg, played minor league and independent baseball.
