Grambling State University

NAIA College World Series runner-up in 1963, 1964
Grambling was known as Louisiana Negro Normal and Industrial Institute until 1946 and Grambling College until 1959. The historically black institution is better known in the sporting world for its football program, but over the years the Tigers have sent a dozen men to the major leagues. Credit goes to the man who founded the baseball (and football) programs: Prez Jones.
