Barret Rey is a college coach.

Rey played for the Southern University baseball team as an undergrad, going 21-6 as a pitcher. He began his coaching career in 1998 as a graduate assistant at Southern. He was pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Southern, working with Rickie Weeks most notably. He was head coach at Grambling State University from 2007-2009, going 56-94 after taking over a team that had just gone 6-36. In 2010, he became head coach of Alcorn State University. He was let go after the 2015 season. His record at Alcorn was 115-219.
