Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Lenny Webster w as signed as a 21st round pick in the 1985 amateur draft by the Minnesota Twins and scout Ed Dunn.
Playing for the Baltimore Orioles, Webster misplayed a Randy Myers pitch in the bottom of the 12th inning in Game 3 of the 1997 American League Championship Series, allowing Marquis Grissom of the Cleveland Indians to score the winning run. The play was officially scored a steal of home. Webster and Grissom had been teammates on the Montréal Expos in 1994.
