Biographical Information

Angel Peguero played college ball at New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) and Grambling State University. He graduated from the latter in 2016 with a degree in psychology. In 2019 he finished a master's degree in sports administration.

Peguero joined the college coaching ranks after completing his playing career. He was an assistant coach at NMMI in 2017-2018. While working on his master's degree at Grambling, he served as a graduate assistant coach in 2019. Peguero left Grambling and headed north to work as an assistant coach for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod League during the summer of 2019.

In 2020, the Philadelphia Phillies hired Peguero for the GCL Phillies West development coach position before the minor league season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
