Biographical Information[edit]
Johnny Jeter hit 2 home runs on May 7, 1972 as a member of the San Diego Padres against the New York Mets. The first came in the 2nd inning against Gary Gentry and the second was off Buzz Capra in the 6th. The Padres lost the game, 8-6.
His son Shawn Jeter followed him to the majors.
