The 1892 season of the National League was the seventeenth season of the league. The league had merged with the American Association in the previous winter, absorbing four clubs, and was now officially known as the National League and American Association. The season was played under a split season format.

The series featured the winner of the season's first half, the Boston Beaneaters playing against the winner of the season's second half, the Cleveland Spiders.
