Biographical Information[edit]
Ed Seward, who pitched six years in the majors, had a nice year in 1888 when he was second in the American Association in both victories and ERA.
In 1891 he was part of a team that toured Cuba. He played outfield. He was also a National League umpire in 1892 and 1893.
