1973 NAIA District Tournaments

From BR Bullpen

The field of 112 teams in the 1973 NAIA Baseball Championship is broken down into 30 geographically based District Tournaments. 2 Districts (5 and 28) gave the District championship to the champion of the only conference in the district. The 4, 5, and 6 team District tournaments are typically a double elimination format (District 31 is single elimination, some have single elimination 1st rounds), while the 2 team tournaments are best of three format. The top team in each bracket advances to one of eight Area Tournaments.

Francis Marion College was competing in its first year of sponsoring baseball.
