1970 NAIA District Tournaments
The field of 94 teams in the 1970 NAIA Baseball Championship was broken down into 28 geographically based District Tournaments. Three Districts (5, 9, and 28) gave the District championship to the champion of the only conference in the district and District 13 awarded the championship to the champion of one of two conferences in the district. The four-team District tournaments are typically a double-elimination format (Districts 10, 17, 24, and 32 were single elimination while some had single-elimination first rounds), while the two-team tournaments were a best-of-three format. The top team in each bracket advanced to one of eight Area Tournaments.
