Phillips University
Phillips University was a private college in Enid, OK from 1906 to 1998.
The school had a strong athletics program in the 1910's and spent 1920 in the Southwest Conference, but dropped its football program in 1933. The baseball team was a strong NAIA performer from the 1950's into the 1980's. The sport was dropped after the 1988 season. The team played in the Sooner Athletic Conference intil 1988 and in 1998 (at least), the Texoma Athletic Conference in 1975, the Oklahoma Collegiate Conference until 1974, and the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Conference at one point.
