Biographical Information

Mike Grouse has been a minor league player and a scout.

The Texas Rangers took Grouse in the 20th round of the 1984 amateur draft. He hit .325/.398/.422 in 28 games for the Tri-Cities Triplets, driving in 18 runs. He fielded .959 at 1B. That was hie lone pro season. He was later an assistant coach at Johnson County Community College and a Texas Rangers scout. He signed Cody Clark, Travis Hafner, Travis Hughes, Ian Kinsler, Doug Mathis and Travis Metcalf.
