Stevens Point is in central Wisconsin about 30 miles south of Wausau, WI and 70 miles west of Green Bay, WI. Harry McCurdy was born here. University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Stevens Point High School are located here.
UW-Stevens Point has hosted the 1967 NAIA District 14 Tournament, 1973 NAIA District 14 Tournament, 1977 NAIA District 14 Tournament, 1976 NAIA Area 4 Tournament, 2022 NCAA Division III Stevens Point Regional, and 2023 NCAA Division III Stevens Point Regional here.
