The Pennsylvania State League played from 1892-1895, then changed into the first Atlantic League. In The Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball, the Pennsylvania State Association of 1886-87 is listed under the Pennsylvania State League, as is the Eastern Interstate League of 1890.
