The Tigres de Aragua are a Venezuelan winter league team that plays in the Liga Venezolana de Béisbol Profesional. The team was founded in 1965 by Homero Días Osuna, Óscar Ortega, Ildegar Pérez Segnini, Alfredo García Guevara and Foción Serrano. The team joined the LVBP as part of league's first expansion. In the team's seventh season the team won its first LVBP title, two years later it won its second which was followed by a third championship in the following year. In recent years the team has again become one of the league's top teams under the guidance of manager Buddy Bailey, winning back-to-back titles from 2003 to 2005 and again from 2006-2009. After losing in the finals in 2011, they won their 9th league title in 2012 and added a 10th in 2016.

The Tigres won their first Caribbean Series title in 2009.
