Biographical Information[edit]

After playing several seasons of minor league ball, Wilfredo Calvino was a longtime Mexican League manager and a scout for the St. Louis Cardinals (1966), Cincinnati Reds (1968-1972), Cleveland Indians (1974-1977), New York Yankees (1978-1980), Cardinals again (1982-1985) and Philadelphia Phillies (1987- ).
