Biographical Information[edit]
The nephew of Frank Shellenback, Jim Shellenback has been working in the Minnesota Twins organization since 1978. He was the team's pitching coach in 1983. Since then, he has been a manager and coach in their farm system. He was a coach for the Toledo Mud Hens in 1984-1985, Orlando Twins in 1987, and Portland Beavers in 1988-1989. He managed Portland in 1990, then coached the Orlando Sun Rays in 1991-1992 [1], Fort Myers Miracle in 1993 and Elizabethton Twins in 1994-2014.
