2008 Division II College World Series

The 2008 Division II College World Series was held at GCS Ballpark in Sauget, IL, the only tournament to be held in Sauget. The eight schools qualified by winning one of eight regional tournaments. The tournament was won by Mount Olive College, coached by Carl Lancaster. The runner-up was the Ouachita Baptist University. Ouachita Baptist pitcher Steve Smith was named the series Most Outstanding Player.
