Tom Myers

Biographical Information[edit]

Tom Myers was a college coach. He hit .405 as a senior in college and made All-MIAA. He became a student assistant coach in 1999 then was an assistant coach at the University of Central Missouri in 2000-2001. He returned to Pittsburg State as an assistant in 2002 then was back with Central Missouri for 2003. He then became hitting coach at Kansas State University from 2004-2007. He became head coach at Central Missouri in 2008. His '08 team was 47-17 and made the 2008 Division II College World Series. In 2010, the squad went 51-9 and made the 2010 Division II College World Series.

Myers retired after the 2014 season. He then returned to Pittsburg State working on the Pitt State athletics administrative staff. He became the head coach at Pitt State in 2017, going 56-48 in two seasons before stepping down.
